He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Powell and Francis Landry Powell; his son Keith Powell; his son-in-law Jim Leck; and his siblings, Herschel, James, Allen, Louie, Verlin, Margie and Ferline.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Crawford; his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Ellen Powell of Fort Worth, Texas; his daughter Cindy Leck of Punta Gorda, Florida; his daughter-in-law Linda Powell of Springfield, Missouri; his sister Francis Simmons of Brownsville, Texas; and his grandchildren, Christy, Bryan, Josh, Deanna, Melissa and Jessica. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
