He was predeceased by: his sister Carol Ann Kelz; and his son-in-law Dwane Stafford. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Greer; his children, Bonnie Williams (Doug Young) of Stover, Becky Oerly (Ryan) of Jamestown, Cameron Smith of Springfield, Marsha Stafford of Killeen, Terri Paxton (Ron "Butch") of Lee's Summit and Nikki Frerking (Duane) of Versailles; and his brother-in-law Michael Kelz of Marshall.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
