It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth (Maxine) Dawson of Verona, Missouri, born in Reeds Spring, Missouri, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Barnes and Stella Barnes (Smith). She is survived by: her children, Dee Nelson of Verona, Cheryl David of Springfield and Greg Dawson of Verona, Missouri; her siblings, Betty Melton and Rex Barnes; her husband Lee Dawson; and her siblings, Raymond, Robert, Freddy, Lonnie, Elizabeth, Barbara and Frieda. She is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
