With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Ray Gates of Verona, Missouri, who passed away on April 10, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Derle Gates and Mary Gates; his brother Pat Gates; his nephew Matthew Izzo; his wife Linda Gates; his children, Louis Carrasquillo (Valerie) of Missouri, Dean, Andy Gates, Michelle Holder of California and Denise Beck of California; his sister Brenda Izzo (Mike) of California; his sisters-in-law, Lori Stephens (Garth) of California, Kathy Larson of Nevada and Suzie Mellen of California; his nieces, Rachel Cecil (Jonathan) of California and Sara Larson (Ryan) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Tristan Feitl (D. J.), Twilah, Jaiden and Jaicee Carrasquillo; and his great grandchild Nash Feitl. He was also cherished by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial donation may be made to the Verona Baptist Church Food Pantry or the Dementia Society in care of the funeral home.
