It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Akin of Verona, Missouri, born in Long Beach, California, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Lee and Ida Jessilyn Akin (Young). He is survived by: his sons, Angus Akin (Tanya) of Verona, Andrew Akin of Springfield and Anthony Akin (Carol) of Marionville; his sister Sandra Keith (Roger) of Ozark; and his grandchildren, Owen, Milo, Lilly Fay, Boden, Luke, Isaiah and Solomon Akin.
