With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Lynn Laswell of Verona, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 21, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theran "Spud" Laswell and Elizabeth Laswell (Kidwell); his daughters, Julie Laswell and Kim Poole; his son-in-law Kevin Shook; and his siblings, Colby Laswell and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Laswell of Verona, Missouri; his daughters, Tina Shook of Kansas City, Missouri., Lori Laswell of Kansas City, Missouri. and Colleen Adrian (Troy) of Kansas City, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Lynae Watkins (Bill), Courtney Poole, Casey Poole, Bobbi Jo Malinda, Cole Adrian and Sami Adrian; his great grandchildren, Phoenix, Reese, Rowan, Burke and Addison; his sister Jody Portwood; his mother-in-law Betty Baughman; and his son-in-law Gary Poole (Kelly). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
