It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jennie Lee Schelin of Verona, Missouri, born in Monett, Missouri, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Logan and Mary Ella Means (Spahr); her son John Andrew Schelin; and her sisters, Nancy Phillips, Mary McClure and Martha Sue Widmeyer.

She is survived by: her spouse Swedish; her children, Victor Schelin (Andrea) of Riverdale, IA, Miriam Childers of Verona, MO and Ingrid Schelin of Independence, KS; her grandchildren, Eric Schelin, Adam Schelin, Ryan Schelin, Aubrey Endicott (Taylor), Logan Papen and Calisse Papen; her great grandchildren, Lincoln Endicott and Sterling Endicott; and her brother Robert Means (Barbara) of Lowry City, MO. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Spring River Cemetery or First United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
