It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E. Bontz Jr. of Vandalia, Missouri, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Mae Bontz (Marshall) and William E. Bontz, Sr.; his grandparents, Guy Marshall, Florence Marshall, Ernest and Willia Marie Bontz; his nephew Tony D'Arca; and his parents-in-law, Eloise Smith and William Doyle Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Smith; his children, Shane Bontz and Crystal Bontz; his stepsons, Jason and Jose Ramirez of Troy, MO; his grandchildren, Jocey Bontz of Vandalia, Lydia and Draven Bontz; his sister Denise D'Arca (Rick) of Ohio; his stepgrandchildren, Anthony Ramirez of Troy, Mariah Ramirez and Whitney Ramirez of Troy; his nephew Paul D'Arca; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Lemmons (Randy) of Oakland, AR and Doyle Smith of Gurdon, AR..
