It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Maxwell of Vandalia, Missouri, who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Cragen and Bernadine Hall Cragen; her spouse Dean Maxwell; her sister Linda Laird; her sister-in-law Margene Maxwell Reeves; and her nephews, Rodney Palmer, Kyle Laird and Chad Laird.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jodey Swee (Dave) of Charleston and Jan Dempsey (Mike) of Kansas City; her grandchildren, Ali Mejia (Juan) of Chesapeake Beach, Andi Swee of Washington, D. C. and Josh Dempsey (Ashton) of Kansas City; her great grandchildren, Dax and Channing Dempsey of Kansas City; and her siblings, Beverly Palmer (Eddie) of New London and Ronnie Cragen of Perry.
