He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl McQuay and Ava Dean McQuay (Miller); and his siblings, Frank, George, Carl, Joyce and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Wheeler-McQuay; his stepdaughters, Brandy and Jennifer; his sister Eva Grace McDowell of Davenport, IA; and his grandchildren, Dashon, Brianna and Estevan.
