She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. Syrkel and Kathleen Pilkington Syrkel; her spouse Francis Palmer Stroker; and her brother Charles Syrkel. She is survived by: her children, Charles Stroker (Betty Walker) of Vandalia, Peggy Grote (Mike) of Vandalia and Patsy Stroker of St. Peters; her grandchildren, Keith Grote (Lisa) of Edwardsville, IL, Brian Grote (Ashley Williams) of Mexico, Krystl Jessop (Alex) of Truesdale and Nic Stroker (Melissa Ball) of Des Moines, IA; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Lena Grote, Makynzie Grote and Adam Jessop.
