It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Muriel Ann Beshears (Vandalia, Missouri), who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam P. Martin and Mary Margaret Martin (Flowerree); and her brothers, Samuel and Bradley Martin. She is survived by: her husband Averil Beshears; her children, Beth Motley (Kevin) of Vandalia, MO, Aaron Beshears (Jackie) of Columbia, MO and Brandon Beshears of Montana; her grandchildren, Sarah Motley (Caleb White) of Fenton, MO, Claire Motley of Creve Coeur, MO, Rebecca Motley of Vandalia, MO, Matthew and Alex Beshears of Columbia, MO.; her great grandchild Sadie White; and her siblings, Don Martin (Johna) of Middletown, MO, Judy Williams (Don) of Smithville, MO and Nita Rooney (Shawn) of Marietta, GA..
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (214 N Lindell St, Vandalia, MO 63382). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Van-Far Alumni Association, in care of Waters Funeral Home.
