With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlin Craig Thompson of Vandalia, Missouri, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on August 4, 2020 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. "Sport" Thompson and Edna Thompson Belts (Gruer); and his stepfather Edgar Wade Belts. He is survived by: his wife Paula Jane Uhey; his son Paul Thompson of Vandalia; his siblings, Kandace Gasperini (Ron) of Naperville, IL, Karla Thompson of Vandalia and Monte Thompson (Joyce) of Mexico; and his close friend Holly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
