He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Ernest and Velma Mae Tagg McDonald; his wife Martha Alexander Meyers; his son Daniel McDonald; his grandson Cole McDonald; his stepson John Meyers; and his brother Leslie E. McDonald Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Eugene McDonald (Nancy) of Vandalia, Randy McDonald (Lola) of Center, Dwayne McDonald of Farber and Charlotte Gaw (Bobby) of Warrensburg; and his stepson Wesley Meyers of Midland, NC. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
