He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Cheney and Ethel Cheney (Kuda); his siblings, Floyd "Dickie" Richard Cheney, Jr., Randolph "Randy" Charles Cheney and Ruthie Clausen; his half-sister Myrna Woolfolk; and his nephews, Rusty Cheney and Johnathan Gillenwater.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna McMorris (Jim) of Vandalia, MO and Joseph "Joe" Wayne Cheney, Jr. of Vandalia, MO; his sisters, Altha Gillenwater of Farber, MO and Carolyn Ford (Jimmy) of Vandalia, MO; his half-sister Wanda Winders of Vandalia, MO; his grandchildren, James Chase McMorris and Hayli Dawn McMorris; his great grandchild Gerald James Walker; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Null (Jim) of Farber, MO, Donna Dickson (Charlie) of Troy, MO and Joyce Green of Indiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mr. Cheney's great-grandson's medical expenses "Gerald James Walker" in care of Deanna McMorris.
