We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2020, at the age of 88, Izetta Dixon (Vandalia, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Redmond and Clara Redmond (Hall); and her siblings, Bruce Hall, William Hastings, Henry Shelton, Catherine Hall, Mary Simons and Laura Sparks.
She is survived by: her husband Walter T. Dixon; her children, Norma Redmond (Michael) of Evanston, IL and Bruce Simons (Alma) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Michelle Fox (Lee) of Normal, IL, Derrick Barber Jr. of Evanston, IL, Melody Crisco of Omaha, NE, Terra Gloria of Lincoln, NE, Gabe Simon of Lincoln, NE and Jerome Maschman of Lincoln, NE; her great grandchildren, Danielle Fox and Mariah Barber; and her siblings-in-law, Dempsey Dixon (Gene), Ines Hastings, Dorothy Miles (Herman) and Cora Braggs. She is also survived by several great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
