He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herbert and Lura Dean Ennis (Fowler); his brothers, Charles Elmo Ennis and Herbert Leon Ennis; and his sons-in-law, George Pfeiffer and Leroy Breneman.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Diann, Phyllis Gail Breneman of Vandalia, Mary Elizabeth Pfeiffer of Plano, TX and Phillip Wayne Ennis (Sheila) of Vandalia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren.
