It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon Gessman of Vandalia, Missouri, born in Eolia, Missouri, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Gessman and Emma Gessman (Pollard); his brothers, Murry Gessman, Roger Gessman and Ronald Gessman; and his children, Dennis Gessman and Marietta Siebel.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Gessman; his children, Kenny Gessman (Deborah) of Wellsville, MO, Twila Gessman of Mexico, MO, James Lee Pollard (Melissa) of Athens, AL, Lynnette Mays of Hannibal, MO and Deena Eckhoff (William) of Vandalia, MO; and his siblings, Gayle Labanca (Gary) of Bellflower, MO and Stanley Hazel (Ann) of Vandalia, MO. He is also survived by twenty nine grandchildren, forty two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
