He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ewell and Mary Helen Morris (Hunter); his wife Bonnie Sue Phelps; his siblings, Harold Morris, Leslie Morris, Dolly Jean Morris, Idella Morris and Bernadine Carline; and his grandchildren, Jessica Nelson and Aricka Jacobi.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Morris of Vandalia, MO, Pam Jacobi (Dennis) of Mexico, MO and Sheila Teague of Vandalia, MO; his grandchildren, Jenifer Danielson (Justin), Brian Jacobi (Elizabeth), Rebecca Byrd (Micah), Kaleena Patrick (Kevin), Brittany Dain (Jim), Tyler Morris (Katelyn), Brock Teague and Ryan Teague; and his sister-in-law Patty Morris. He is also survived by twenty-five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Vandalia, in care of Waters Funeral Home.
