He is survived by: his spouse Gene Ann Redd; his children, Dempsey Dixon Jr. of Mount Pleasant, IA, Richard Damon Redd of Bonne Terre, MO, Jolene Ann Dixon of Vandalia, Melissa Jean Redd of Vandalia and Nikki Lee of Fulton, MO; his siblings, Walter Dixon of Vandalia, Dorothy Miles (Herman) of Columbia, MO and Aisha Abdelnassar of Kansas City, MO; his siblings-in-law, James Wheeler of Vandalia, Harold Wheeler of Davenport, IA, Christopher Redd (Teresa) of Springfield, IL, Daisy Warren (Frank) of Clarksville, MO and Fannie Carter (Billy) of Davenport, IA; and his grandchildren, Ciarria Underwood (Jeffrey) of Troy, MO, Jaselle Brookins of Vandalia, Danasia Pittman of Fulton, MO, Daniel Pittman of Fulton, MO and Danniqua Pittmann of Arizona. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and many more loved nieces, nephews, family and friends.
