It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Yvonne Penton of Vandalia, Missouri, born in Marceline, Missouri, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bartholomew and Donys Dowell Bartholomew; and her brothers, Randy and Ronnie Bartholomew. She is survived by: her husband Norman Penton; her children, Jerry Penton of New London, Candace Lower (Tony) of Vandalia and Alisha Jensen (Dean) of Thornton, CO; her siblings, Dick, Lonnie, Roger Bartholomew, Cathryn Penrod, Janice Boss, Linda Perry and Donna Enyeart; her grandchildren, Brayden Garbulski, Alexis Garbulski, Travis Allen (Stephanie), Trevor Lower, Trenton Lower, Kelsie Jo Barron (Anthony), Olivia Penton, Trinity Penton and Jacoby Penton; and her great grandchild Chase Allen.
