Calvin Lee Mooney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2024, at the age of 79, Calvin Lee Mooney of Vandalia, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Willis Mooney; and his niece Melissa "Kris" Mooney. He is survived by: his mother Betty Bartlett Mooney; his wife Janet Mooney of Vandalia, MO; his siblings, Larry Mooney (Karen) and Patricia Buchanan (Jerry); his children, Troy Mooney (Balinda), Kandy Batchelor (Kenny) of Pleasant Hill and Seth Mooney (Jessica) of Friendswood, TX; and his stepchildren, Tiffani Painter of Laddonia, MO and Rusty Harrison (Barbi) of New Canton. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lummis Funeral Home (502 S Main St, Pleasant Hill, IL 62366). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
