He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Hanson and Merle Sullivan Hanson; his brother Jim Hanson; his daughter Diana Rae Gentry; his grandsons, Lyle Fitzpatrick and Gary Gentry; and his great grandchild Corbin Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Righter; his daughters, Cheryl Elsenraat (Jerry) of Hermann and Bobette Landis (Ronnie) of Auxvasse; his grandchildren, Wade Fitzpatrick (Elisa), Travis Fitzpatrick, Marnie Carothers (Shane), Mindy Meyer (Brandon), Justin Landis, Jody Spears, Jared Landis and Janae Landis; and his great grandchildren, Lacy Fitzpatrick, Porter Fitzpatrick, Victoria, Kellie, Matthew Carothers, Shayna, Madison, Reagan, Brady Landis, Natalie, Allison, Evan Landis, Kylee, Kade Spears, Kaylin, Gavin Weldon and Mia Meyer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
