She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Westlund and Carole Westlund (Winterbower); and her siblings, Edward Lee Winterbower, Walter Jones and Tyleen Winterbower-Uhlman.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley Hazel; her children, Ricky Hazel, Samuel Hazel, Susann Hazel, Gayle Hazel (Shannon) and Cassandra Kalani (Keano); her grandchildren, Joseph Ramirez-Hazel, Dominic Ramirez-Hazel, Juliana Martinez, Cecelia Henandez, Rylan Mellor, Kadyn Mellor, Haydyn Mellor, Melody Hazel, Caleb Hazel, Madylin Hazel and Reid Hazel; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon McDole and Violet Hazel.
She was able to donate bone marrow to help children and adults with bone cancer to prevent amputation. She was also able to donate skin tissue to help women with breast cancer.
