She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Benjamin and Emma Elsie Eberline Pettey; her husband Robert Eugene Bland; and her siblings, Charles "Bud" Pettey, Bonnie June Hammett, Helen Quinlan and Hazel McCluskey.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Bland (Beverly) of Hannibal, Dale Bland (Cheryl) of Camdenton and Joy Hoyt (Terry) of Laddonia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one future great grandson.
