She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Chitwood and Alma Chitwood (Roy); her husband Donald Leroy Helvey; and her siblings, Dan Chitwood, John A. Chitwood, Albert Pete Chitwood, Wilma Blake, Nadine Black, Wanda Buxton, Lessie Glass and Dessie Dawson.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Hills (Linden) of Van Buren, MO., Rick Helvey (Betty) of Van Buren, MO. and Rusty Helvey (Sandy) of Van Buren, MO.; her siblings, Delma McKeeney of Knoxville, TN. and Billy Hedrick of Van Buren, MO.; and her grandchildren, Donald, Justin, Adam, Brandon and Audrey. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and family and friends.
