She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clay Samples and Bertha Mae Samples (Sheets); her husband Robert Carl Shockley; her siblings, Barney Samples, Maxine Samples, Ivan Clyde Samples, Samuel Samples, Vivian Samples, Terrance Samples, George Samples, William Samples (Corky), Merle Samples and James Mack Samples; and her sons, Steve Shockley and Robert Shockley.
She is survived by: her son Steven Carl; and her grandchildren, Lance Shockley, Tom Shockley, Erica DeWolf (Delbert), Rachel Shockley and Sara Joy. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
