He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Jackson Brawley and Opal Louisa Brawley (Black); his brothers, Junior and Dwight; and his brother-in-law Bill Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Schmid; his siblings, Imogene Vickers, Eileen Cooper (Clinton), Debbie Strain (Brawley) and David Brawley (Barbara); his sister-in-law Ann Thompson; and his great-niece Paige Million (Tony). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
