It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin I. Fridley Jr. of Valley Park, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris Spruss; his parents, Marvin Fridley and Telsa Fridley; and his brothers, Floyd "Lee" and Clyde Fridley.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Fridley (Kathy) of Carmi, Grace Malley (George) of Kirkwood, Matthew Fridley (Stacy) of Chicago and Andrew Fridley (Lori MacFarlane) of Portland, Oregon; his brothers, Daniel and Robert Fridley; and also, Lizbeth, Robert of Sarasota, Michele Steele (Richard) of Nolensville, Tennessee, Laura Malley (Ryan Parish), Anna Malley Vargas, John Malley (Alexandria Thibodeaux), Jessica Versage (Tanner Versage), Kyle Fridley (Hannah Fridley), Emma Ragan (Nick Ragan), Simon MacFarlane, Seth MacFarlane, Zachary, Arthur, Maxwell, Oscar, Carter, Emmett, Sarah Kate, Summer, Luke, Bejamin, Ariel and Alivia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kirkwood United Methodist Church (201 W Adams Ave, Kirkwood, MO 63122). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
