He was predeceased by: his parents, George Barbey and Helen Barbey (Rowe); his wife June (Cameron); his brother Francois; and his daughter-in-law Deborah Barbey.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Ward (Kevin) of Desloge and Mitchell Barbey (Jennifer) of Valles Mines; his grandchildren, Rebecca Psalmonds (Mathias), Matthew Barbey (Ashley), Natalie Holland (Chase), Catherine Burghoff Barbey, Elizabeth Barbey and Jack Barbey; and his great grandchildren, Mattilynn, Jarod, Ava and Alexa.
