She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillie Mae Hess and Oliver Guy Frederick Hess; her son-in-law Jamie Purkey; her sister Ann Perry; and her brother-in-law Richard Perry.
She is survived by: her spouse Vaughan Eldon Nelson; her daughters, Jeannie Erwin (Steve) and Jeanette Cloyd (Brent); her grandchildren, Darrell Erwin, Kristi Kay, Jeremy Cloyd, Brock Cloyd and Brittney Cloyd; and her great grandchild Alisyn Kay.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Christ's Christian Church Memorial Fund.
