He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Warren F. Hilbrenner and Nola A. Hilbrenner; his wife Vicky Hilbrenner (Rucker) of Urbana; his sister Valerie Hinck; his sons, Eric Hilbrenner and Sam Eidson; and his stepdaughter Chessa Nyberg (Heirigs). He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
