He was predeceased by: his father Donald Wayne Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Brooksie Jane Johnson (Edde) of Urbana; his son Andy Wayne Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona; his siblings, Janie Eidson of Roach, Sandy Rice (Melvin) of Sedalia and John Johnson (Mike) of Tipton, Missouri; and his granddaughters, Melanie Johnson and Emily Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
