It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Vanderen of Urbana, Missouri, born in Westminster, Texas, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Deren and Wilma Van Deren (Haynes); and his siblings, Paula, Peggy and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Van Deren; his children, Mark, James, Jeremy, Terrance, Jason, Weldon, Emily, Katie, Melissa and April; and his siblings, Wendell, Galen, Don Paul and Lynette. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
