He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Deren and Wilma Van Deren (Haynes); and his siblings, Paula, Peggy and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Van Deren; his children, Mark, James, Jeremy, Terrance, Jason, Weldon, Emily, Katie, Melissa and April; and his siblings, Wendell, Galen, Don Paul and Lynette. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
