He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. VanBuren and Clara Belle Wilson (Jones); his stepfather Clyde L. Wilson; and his siblings, Johnnie Jones, James Wilson, Melvin Wilson, Raymond Wilson, Wanda Bailes, Helen Patterson, Mary Wilson and Alberta Wilson.

He is survived by: his children, Jonathan (Amanda) of Urbana, MO and Tammie Kee of Conway, MO; and his siblings, Thomas Wilson, Lester Wilson, Teresa McCoy, Debra Wilson, Vickie Wilson and Eva Rogers. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kidney Foundation.
