She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Raymond and Elsie Mae Ellington (Allen). She is survived by: her husband Donald Duane Modlin; her children, George Glem (Gigi Modlin), April Lynn (Anthony Middleton) and Glenna Gail (Lucas Shane Shock); and her grandchildren, Sarah Surilla Young, Macala Mae Middleton, Hayden Parker Modlin, Waylon Shane Shock, Morgan Elaine Shock and Sky Jolie Modlin. She is also survived by three children.
