He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Jourdan Sweney; and his brother James P. Sweney. He is survived by: his wife Maria D'Agrosa-Sweney; and his children, Mary "Molly" LaMear (Lawrence), Anne McDonald, Jane Sweney (Robert Ravanelli), Jeanne Beller (Richard), Martha Woulfe (Greg), Andrea Aronberg (Garry), David D'Agrosa (Linda), Louis D, Paul D'Agrosa (Amy), Maria B. D'Agrosa and Rosemary D'Agrosa. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
