He is survived by: his wife Maureen (O'Brien); his children, Monica Swihart (James DeCoster), Marcia Swihart Orgill and David Swihart (Marcy); his grandchildren, Swen, Andrea Swihart-DeCoster, Michael Orgill (Tammy Phan), Jennifer Orgill Meyer (Eliot Meyer), Katherine Orgill Palmer (Hyrum Palmer), Steven Orgill (Joslyn), Kristan Swihart Levy (Paul Levy) and Mitchell Swihart; his great grandchildren, Connor, Alyssa Orgill, Oliver Dale, Clara Meyer, Emma, Luke, Charlotte, Quinn Palmer, Caroline, Eleanor, Courtney and Arthur Levy; and his sister Annabelle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the Missouri Botanical Garden, the American Civil Liberties Union, or a charity of your choice.
