With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mary Catherine Kaveney (University City, Missouri), whose life came to an end on December 30, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward James and Helen Amelia Hempstead; and her brother Gerard "Gerry" Hempstead. She is survived by: her husband Francis "Frank" John Kaveney; her children, Kevin Kaveney (Carrie) of Colorado Springs, Brian Kaveney (Becky) of St. Louis, Maura Catherine Senneff (Jack) of Denver, Colleen Moss (Kellis) of Washington, D. C. and Sean Francis Kaveney; her grandchildren, Conor, Carson Kaveney, Sean, Grace, Brian Christopher, Rose Kaveney of John, Ryan, Catherine Senneff, Crosby, Sullivan and John "Lahey" Moss; and her siblings, James "Jim" Hempstead, Edward Hempstead, Joanne LaJeunesse and Mary Beth Hempstead.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Loyola Academy, where Cathy was reading with children.
