He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jr. Finn and Anna Murphy Finn; his sister Judy Outman (Danny); his stepsiblings, Peggy Bochantin and Dennis Murphy (Denise); and also, James IV and Tommy Finn.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Finn; his children, Kevin Finn (Dawn) and Christine McNamara (Pat); his stepchildren, Jennie Picha (Kevin), Kelly Lake (Russ) and Matthew Sokolich (Rachel); his great grandchild Henry Estes; his brother Rick Finn (Nance); and his stepbrothers, Rick Murphy (Cathy) and Tom Murphy (DeeDee). He is also survived by his 43 grandchildren.
