He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Houser and Emma G. Houser; and his siblings, Douglas B. Houser, Nancy H. Hall (George), Jane H. Bell (Henry) and Peter Houser.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Slauson; his children, Eric Houser and Carole H. Bartoo (Jim); his granddaughters, Emma and Grace Bartoo; and his nephew Andrew Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
