He is survived by: his son Charles "Gus" Wilgus Whitelaw III; his grandson Colton Wilgus Whitelaw; his daughters, Josephine "Jodie" Whitelaw Drake, Marguerite "Margee" Cramer Whitelaw, Luka and Zoe Frank; his stepson Granger Brewster Whitelaw; his stepgrandchildren, Granger Brewster Whitelaw, Jr., Olivia Peabody Whitelaw, Charles Markham Whitelaw and Caroline "Cece" Whitelaw; and his siblings, Corrine "Corrie" Whitelaw Fusz (Lou), George Peters Whitelaw, III (Linda) and Charles "Mark" Markham Whitelaw (Joyce).
