It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Joye Carter of Unionville, Missouri, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfred Edwards and Lydia Edwards (MacGuire); and her sister-in-law Sandy Bowes. She is survived by: her husband Russell Carter of Unionville, MO; her children, Dean Carter (Cindi), Elise of Kansas City, MO and Ryan Carter of Rochester Hills, MI; her siblings, Ray Edwards (Betty) of Athens, GA, Linda Otwell (George) of Marysville, TN, Sandra Holcomb of Marysville, TN and Nancy Bach (Jake) of Marysville, TN; and her brothers-in-law, Curtis Carter (Jean) of Milwaukee, WI and Mike Bowes of Knoxville, IA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be given in her name to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund for Alzheimer's Research (http://www.curealz.org).
