He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Putnam and Ora Putnam (Ellis); and his siblings, Tom Putnam, Kenneth Putnam, Mary Kellison and Emily Pauley.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Hagen; his siblings, Edward Putnam and Lucille Davis of East Moline, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Hanson of Monona, IA and Karen Steffenson (Glen) of Elizabeth, IL.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
