He was predeceased by: his stepmother June Staggs; his stepsister Marsha VenGenderen; and his brother-in-law Dwight Carter. He is survived by: his parents, Elbert Staggs and Mary Staggs (Nichols); his spouse Bev Neighbors; his children, David Lee Staggs, Jodi Putz (Jim) of Lacona, IA and Jaki Staggs (Karen) of Kansas City, MO; his grandsons, Quintin Anzalone, David Staggs, Jr. and Gary Dean Staggs; his great grandchildren, Taylor Staggs and Drew Staggs; his sisters, Wanda Freeman (Wally) of Lacona, IA and Dianne Carter of Indianola, IA; and his stepsisters, Gayanne Tipton (Lee) of Unionville, MO and Joyce Thomas.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Union Church Cemetery and may be entrusted with Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
