He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Steele and Juanita Steele (Fullerton); his sons, John Steele and Jeff Steele; his sister Aneta Couchman; his nephew Steve Milner; and his brothers-in-law, Andy Lowe and Donnie Lowe.
He is survived by: his children, Barb Tilden (Jerry) and Jim Steele (Liz); his daughter-in-law Angie Steele of Unionville, MO.; his grandchildren, Amanda Bonnell, Brooke Hunt, Jennifer Lansdale, Jeffrey Garten, Brandi Garten, Danielle Luchsinger, Josh Steele, Jessica Holt, Katie Fairley, Redgy Tilden and Payton Tilden; his siblings, Joe Steele (Nancy) of Troy, MO, Liyla Milner (John) of Independence, MO and Margaret Henson of Lee's Summit, MO; and his sister-in-law Debbie Lowe. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
