He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Lenora Shady (Evers); and his sisters, Susan DuBois and Judith Eye. He is survived by: his father Clayton Lyle; his wife Susan Dague; his children, Willliam Shady of Milan, Missouri, Jonathan Bartolotti (Jessica) of Hamburg, David Shady of Maquoketa, Robert Shady of Unionville and Melissa Remme of Fresno, California.; and his siblings, Michael Shady of Maquoketa, Debra Shady of Lost Nation, Janet Streets of Maquoketa, Melinda Sterbenz of Cuba City and Dixie Hensler of Neillsville. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews.
