He is survived by: his wife Mary Mathes; his daughter Dalisa Garrett-Gailliard (William Richard) of Houston, Texas; his granddaughters, Celty Shae of Columbia and Ashland Humphrey of Miami, Florida; his brother Leo Garrett (Bertha) of Downing, Missouri; and his cousins, Laura Willier (Rusty Sands) of Unionville and Christina Miller (Robert) of Memphis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
