In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Paula Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Paula Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Paul and Winona Whitener; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Sutton and Zeno Forbes. She is survived by: her husband J. David Sutton of Union; her siblings, Joseph Whitener (Mary Denise) of Bonne Terre, MO and Belva Fitzgerald (David) of Strafford, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Judith Forbes of Desloge, MO and Judith Sutton of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.
A reception will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Union Community Center (1329 Union Ave, Union, MO 63084).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Scenic Regional Library Foundation or the Scenic Regional Library Friends of the Union Branch.
